About Ron Buckman

I (Ronald C. Buckman) was born in 1961 in Seattle, Washington. I lived in Federal Way (King County) Washington from about 1964 to 1968 than moved to Longview, Washington and lived there until 1973, then I moved to rural Rainier, Oregon. I had some emotional problems in my childhood which led me to a stay at Child Study and treatment Center near Tacoma, Washington most of the time from July of 1973 to November of 1974. After I left C. S. T. C., I started 7th grade at Rainier Elementary School back when it housed grades Kindergarten through 8th. I graduated from Rainier Elementary in 1976. Then I attended Rainier High School which I graduated from in 1980. After nine months of going to Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho and meeting some very fine people, I moved back to Longview in 1981 and have lived in the Longview zip code since. I graduated from Lower Columbia College with an Associate of Arts degree in data processing in 1987. After a little over five years of working for the arch-rivals of the place where I work at now, I now work part-time at the McDonald's on 38th Avenue in Longview. In 2003, I moved to an apartment in West Longview. In 2018, I moved back to the city of Longview.

I attend New Life Fellowship at 2441 42nd Av. in Longview, Washington.

Favorite Kind of Music
Christian Easy Listening
I like the soothing sounds of Easy Listening. Other kinds of music I enjoy listening to are bluegrass, classical, and beautiful instrumental music. I also get some enjoyment out of listening to soft rock.

Online community includes a Christian search engine, clean Christian jokes, Bible study aids, webmaster resources, Christian news, Christian cartoons, games & Bible trivia and much more.

How to Survive Online Without Google

In most cases I use non-Google applications. However, C4C Lubuntu ReSpin does include some YouTube videos and channels. I don't use YouTube as often as I used to, but I tend to stick with Christian videos and those made by Christian authors when I use YouTube. Also many good non-Google alternatives aren't listed. These include the Pale Moon browser, which is more lightweight than Firefox and Chrome; and Dailymotion, an alternate video site. There are also Christian video sites such as Godtube.

Recommended Christian musicians for soft music lovers

The following Christian musicians do not use the following instruments, or simulate the use of these instruments at a loud volume: drums, electric bass, electric guitar. I prefer to listen to music that soothes, rather than excites and increases stress levels.
